Cancellation & Refund Policy
Inclement Weather, Equipment Exchanges, Early Returns and Rain Checks
We continuously strive to provide the absolute best service and value across the entire spectrum of our rental and tour offerings. In doing so, our guests have a fun, safe and reliable experience with us on their vacations and weekends.
Our reservation and cancellation policies reflect the commitment we make to our customers in guaranteeing equipment and services are available and ready at the date and time of the customer's choosing, exclusively for them.
While we maintain the largest fleet of equipment in every category we service, there is a finite supply, and on occasion, we have to turn down business because customers beforehand have secured their reservation in writing. We take reservations seriously, and have implemented policies to support this. These policies are simple, straightforward, and clear:
1. Reservations are secured with a credit card on file at the time of reservation.
2. The credit card on file will be charged as early as 3 days prior to the scheduled activity.
3. Cancellations of reservations outside of 3 days will be provided a complete refund.
4. Cancellations between 2 and 3 days will be provided a 75% refund.
5. Cancellations between 1 and 2 days will be provided a 50% refund.
6. Cancellations less than 1 day will not be provided a refund.
If you fear you may not be able to stick with your reservation for any reason and wish to avoid cancellation fees should this issue arise, then we recommend calling in, or walking in on the day and time you are ready and we will do our absolute best to help you. Except for holiday weekends, we are typically well equipped to handle last-minute arrivals. Calling ahead is always recommended.
Inclement weather that precludes the use of our equipment for safety reasons on 1/2 day and daily rentals will be given a rain-check, with the value of the reservation being good for any other activity at a future date within 1 year.
There are no refunds due to weather, only rain-checks as described above.
There are no partial refunds or rain-checks for multi-day and weekly rentals.
The decision to forego activity due to weather is made by A1A Beach Rentals staff only, and is typically made very near the time of the reservation, as inclement weather may only last a few minutes.
During the term of your rental period, we will gladly provide exchanges of equipment as necessary, without additional cost, unless the item charge is greater. Special delivery rates apply.
There are no refunds or credits issued on early returns of rentals.
If you have special circumstances that you feel are important to share with us prior to your reservation, please let us know and we will do all we can to accommodate your request. It is our intention to remain flexible. After all, we are in the business of fun, leisure, and recreation.
